Chocolate Covered Date With Almonds

These are the perfect easy and delicious dessert or snack! Cut a slit in each date and remove the pit. Gently fill each date with an almond. Enclose the dates to completely cover the almonds and set them aside in a bowl or tray. Drop the dates, one at a time, in the melted dark chocolate, roll gently to coat the dates and sprinkle each lightly with the mixture of crushed almonds and pistachios. Chill in the freezer for about 1 hour or until the chocolate hardens. Leave at room temperature for 10 minutes before ready to serve. Enjoy!

  1. your post a tad misleading with wording ‘date’ but not date night; just ‘date’. We’ve purchased them from BJ’s they carry medjool dates cost about $9.99; we were buying them for a while than stopped impulsively; cutting back on the sugar. Otherwise, the post is informative and thank you for sharing.
