Common causes of Bloating

Bloating occurs when fluid or air is trapped in the digestive tract. It can be caused by an imbalance of electrolytes – sodium and potassium. Too much sodium can cause bloating, so I bring things back to balance with potassium-rich foods.

De-Bloat Green Smoothie Recipe 1
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 3-4 mint leaves
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 banana, chopped
- 1 large cucumber sliced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- Handful of ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend them well
Then, add 1tsp apple cider vinegar to it and mix well. (optional)

- 1/2 pineapple, peeled and cored
- 1/4 papaya, peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 cups coconut water
- Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Add pineapple, papaya, cucumber, ginger, turmeric, coconut water, and ice into a blender.
Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
